This course develops students’ analytical and composition skills. This course instructs the SOAPStone Method to analyze rhetorical strategies, diction, tone, style, syntax, point of view, irony, and satire. This course also includes a detailed grammar review to allow students to read like writers. With detailed instructions on synthesis, rhetorical strategy analysis, and free response, this course assists students in proliferating their writing skills to prepare for the essay section of the exam.
